About Me
Juli – Crochet Artist & MS Warrior
Hi, I’m Juli — creator of Knot Today, MS!
I’m a fiber artist living with Multiple Sclerosis, and I’ve found strength, calm, and connection through the simple magic of crochet. Whether you’re new to yarn or an experienced stitcher, this space is for you — a place to create, cope, and thrive without breaking the bank.
By day, I’m a bookkeeper who geeks out over spreadsheets and databases. I blend my love of crafting, financial know-how, and wellness to support others navigating the ups and downs of MS (and life in general).
💜 I believe in small, powerful steps — and in the healing that comes from making something with your own two hands.

My Story
When I was diagnosed with MS, everything changed — slowly, and then all at once.
At first, I was devastated. But life moved on, and I floated down a river of denial, only facing MS when I had no other choice. I spent years working full-time and raising a family, pushing through symptoms I didn’t fully want to name.
Then came divorce — first from my ex, and then from the job I had held for over 30 years.
Over the years, I’ve faced a wide range of symptoms. Some settled in and stayed; others come and go as they please. Fatigue, pain, memory loss, numbness, brain fog — each has had its turn. And after losing my job, I found myself in a place of deep uncertainty.
How would I keep working? Stay creative? Feel like myself again?
That’s when crochet became more than a hobby — it became therapy.
Each stitch helped me manage stress, strengthen my hands, and reclaim a little control in a body that often felt unpredictable. It also helped me connect with others who understand the hidden struggles of invisible illness.
Alongside MS, I’ve lived through the challenges of tight budgets, raising kids as a single mom, and reimagining what success and wellness look like in this new life.
So here I am — sharing what I’ve learned about crafting, money, health, and resilience, all through the lens of chronic illness.
This is my thread of hope, stitched one loop at a time — and I’m honored to share it with you.
